The YES Forum showcased the A.M.O.R. Project and its results in an event organised in Stuttgart on April 20th. This event hosted a diverse audience of young people, as well as youth and social workers from various organizations across Europe.
The A.M.O.R. project aims to address the social skills gap and digital divide, issues that have been particularly emphasized by the Covid-19 pandemic, for young people with disabilities and students with special educational needs. By implementing the A.M.O.R. project, teachers, trainers, and social workers will rely on means to assist these young individuals in overcoming perceived or real challenges, enhancing their active social participation, and combating current negative trends of exclusion.
In particular, in this event it was presented a draft of the A.M.O.R.’s Good Practice Catalogue, a compilation of exemplary practices collected during the project. This catalogue features a compendium of innovative strategies, methodologies, and digital solutions developed to address the challenges brought about by the pandemic.
This event focused on providing the participants with the skills and knowledge to help and address issues faced by young people with disabilities and special educational needs. They received information about good practices carried out by various European organisation, as well as about the skills needed, the methodology, and inclusive approaches when it comes to helping people with disabilities in these circumstances.
