The READY project has entered its second phase after translating several EU provision to easy-to-understand language. Now the content is being turned into visuals. Project partners met in Pau on 15-16 March to discuss the first results of the infographics and to prepare the local activities and the training.
The phase 2 “EU ready to see” is based on the educational approach of learning-by-doing. To this end, the first day of the meeting was dedicated to reviewing and giving feedback on some of the draft digitalised infographics from the first training in Strasbourg. To further improve the infographics, partners shared their expectations about necessary guidelines to create easy-to-understand and high-quality visuals.
Now is the time for local activities!
During the next two months, partners will focus on finishing the recruitment of young participants and preparing thembefore the second training in Lucca on 2-7 July. Each organisation is responsible for this preparation by organising or taking part in local activities with their young participants.
These local activities aim at reconnecting with the participants from the first training, reflecting on communication from public institutions and preparing draft infographics to be further improved and digitalised during the Lucca training.
Next is the training in Lucca where young participants will receive training sessions on how to communicate about the EU in an effective way (without jargons and visually) and gathering input for the Key Messages through reflecting together.
Stay tuned!
